Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and the tenth largest city in the country.

Built during the 1960s to replaceKarachias Pakistan's capital, the city's master-plan divides the city into eight basic zones, including administrative, diplomatic enclave, residential areas, educational sectors, industrial sectors, commercial areas, and rural and green areas.

The city is home toPakistan's National Monument.It ishome to theFaisal Mosque, thelargest mosquein South Asiaand thefourth largest mosquein the world.The city is also home to sixteen recognised universities, including theQuaid-i-Azam Universityand theNational University of Science and Technology.
